Cans of Evanger’s Dog and Cat Food Hunk of Beef are being pulled off the shelves here in michigan and other states because they may contain pentobarbital – it’s an anti-seizure druge that in large doses may cause death. Unfortunately it’s been reported that four pugs have gotten sick from it and one has died.
They don’t know for certain the contamination has occurred but thinks the beef supplier is likely the source.
