Mrs Carpenter teaches 2nd grade and is so deserving because she is the most caring teacher my kids have ever had. Her classroom lost a student this year and she is helping the children cope with this tragedy while going through it herself. I could not think of a better person to lead kids through an experience like this. She is a very special, kind and caring person and deserves to be a teacher of the week.
